Vijay has over a decade’s experience in business and engineering analytics. As the founder of Omega Analytics, he has been responsible for creating innovative applications of geo-spatial technologies in a wide range of sectors. Prior to Omega Analytics, Vijay spent several years in the financial services and IT industries, both in India and overseas. His experience spans credit & equity research, investment management, banking software and financial risk analysis. Vijay has a B Tech degree from the Indian Institute of Technology, Bombay, MBA from the Indian Institute of Management, Bangalore and M Sc Finance from the University of Strathclyde, Glasgow, UK. He is a Research Associate of the International Institute of Information Technology, Bangalore. He is also a member of the Asia Centre, a geo-political think tank, based in Bangalore.
Seetharam has been engaged in market research and industrial consulting for over three decades. He began his career as a process engineer with Indian Aluminium. Later he managed the complete plant operations, including commissioning of equipment, spares management and quality control, of a bottling company. He later transitioned to market research where he has directed hundreds of surveys for consumer and industrial products. He has completed dozens of assignments for project site location & selection and raw material planning for process industries besides undertaking numerous socio-economic studies. He successfully completed UN assignments to study and rehabilitate distressed industrial units in various countries in Africa. Seetharam has a B Tech degree from the Indian Institute of Technology, Bombay, and an MBA from the Indian Institute of Management, Calcutta. He is a fellow member of the Institute of Management Consultants (India) and a member of the Indian Institute of Chemical Engineering.
Murali has over fifteen years experience in spatial information technologies including GIS, CAD and Remote Sensing. His experience includes map data preparation using topographic sheets, revenue maps, data acquisition, data compilation and data analysis for various departments / agencies such as Pollution Control Board , Department of Economics & Statistic, Central Ground Water Board, Department of Mines and Geology, etc. Prior to joining Omega Analytics, Murali has worked for Karnataka State Council for Science & Technology and Spatial Data Pvt Ltd, the pioneer of digital mapping in India and Lattice Bridge Infotech Pvt Ltd, specialists in GIS and speech/IVRS technologies Murali holds a B Sc (Electronics) degree.
